Chicken Cowboy
A daffy and amusing animated short with a surrealist bent. The title pretty much says it all — a chicken cowboy rides into town. His only weapon is a magnifying glass that he uses to heat up birdseed and enemies’ bullets. His loyal steed, for some reason, carries around an electric toaster, of which he’s very protective.
Chicken cowboy gets into a scrape with some local toughs, who are human, except for one cat who still wields a pretty nasty six-shooter. The voice work is nice, and the loopy animation is like Salvador Dali meets classic Warner Bros.
