“Pedestrian Jar” is a one-joke comedy, and a good one, but feels more like a “Saturday Night Live” digital short than a short film. At five minutes, it actually goes on just a little too long, after the laughs are all milked.
I won’t tell you what the joke is; if I did, you wouldn’t need to see the movie. Suffice it to say, it’s sort of an obvious gag executed extremely well, with an office full of performers who sell the joke well.
Writer/director Evan Morgan seems to have a good head for relating humor — a skill less common than one might think. Let’s see more.
