Patrick Mitchell is a IUPUI grad with a BA in Communication Studies and Film Theory. He has worked in the health food industry for going on 4 years now. He’s a cinema enthusiast at heart, especially when it comes to the horror genre. He also loves anything with Charlie Chaplin, Ed Norton, or Sylvester Stallone in it. In terms of directors he celebrates the works of: Jarmusch, Kubrick, Carpenter, Coppola, Kurosawa, Cronenberg…among others.
He’s a vegan and when asked about what he eats, anything that doesn’t cast a shadow will do. He’s also involved with a variety of local volunteer groups including Indy Vegans and a local DIY collective space called The Dojo. He writes for his own blog entitled 365 Films in 365 Days where he reviews a new movie every day for a year, consequently it gets updated about once a week. He also has a sadomasochistic love for Chicago sports teams, specifically the Bears and Bulls.
