Criterion Collection: Essential Fellini

As a musical, "Nine" is impressive. But whenever the music stops, it's revealed as a silly story in need of a chair.

Federico Fellini's "8½" is a journey into the tortured mind of the filmmaker. It makes for an interesting vacation, though I don't recommend an extended stay.
